I was so moved seeing the documentary in Suffern last night. My wife never met Tommy but left with the same pulled heartstrings after experiencing the obvious grace and love of Tommy. I was Tommy's HS English teacher at Clarkstown South. I had the privilege, also, of announcing Viking football games. Over the past 39 he years, I have taught hundreds of students. You don't remember them all. Some, you always remember. Tommy was one of those "keepers," always respectful, personable, happy and giving. I am so proud to see the man he became and to share in the celebration of his life. I am still teaching (in Scarsdale) and purchased the DVD to show to our middle school students. We can all learn so much from the life of Tommy! Thanks for giving us this gift!
